Community health workers are the backbone of many health systems around the world. But, their contributions to public health are rarely recognised, and many go unpaid. Diana Nambatya Nsubuga, from the non-profit活物品, is working with governments across Sub-Saharan Africa to build these community heroes into their public health systems.
